Why do I need a Micro SD Sim Card?

The GPS Kids Watches have built-in GPS receivers and are designed to operate on a GSM network, so they will not fully power without a SIM card. You will need to get a Micro SIM Card. The watch accepts any network. You will also need to RICA the SIM card and load airtime, in order for the watch to work. Plus the SIM card needs to have caller ID enabled.

What’s the SIM Card Size and Function needed?

This GPS kids watch supports only Micro SIM Card. The SIM card requires GSM (2G) network for data communication. You have to enable Caller ID for the card in order for the unknown numbers to not be able to get through.

Why is caller ID service necessary?

If there is no caller ID service for the SIM card in the watch, then all unknown numbers can call in, it will weaken the security guard.

How to install the SIM card?

There are two ways to install the SIM Card; one is to open the back case by using the screwdriver in the box, and then insert the micro SIM Card. The other one is easier, you just need to insert the card in the side slot.

There is no GSM signal?

The GPS Kids Watches only supports GSM SIM Cards. If the SIM card is good, then the problem might be from the antenna inside. Please contact support@gpskidswatch.com.

The Watch App - SeTracker

After you get the SIM card loaded and inserted into the watch. Make sure you have fully charged the watch, then switch on the watch. In order to confiqure the watch you will need to download the App onto your phone - search in your app store for - SeTracker or SeTracker1.

Create a user account on SeTracker APP

When you register an account for the App, you will need a ID number.  The ID number is the 10 digit ID number on the back of the watch back, alongside with the IMEI number. Each device has its own unique ID.


How can retrieve my device ID number if I lost it?

If you lost the Device ID number, you can retrieve it from the IMEI number, cut off the first 4 and last one digits, then you will the 10 number device ID.

How to retrieve my account, if I lost the account name and password?

You only need to offer us the ID number, then we can locate your device. After the data has been cleared, you can then create another new account.

How does Positioning work?

One of the most featured and useful function of the watch. Most people buy this watch for its effective way to watch out for your kids and keep them out of danger in time. GPS kids watches in the market have three ways to locate your kids; GPS mode, Base station mode, WIFI mode.

Base station mode - get the position by the signal transmitter, but it's a general location which may be inaccurate.

GPS Mode - get the position by satellite, it is the most accurate method.

WIFI Mode - this method is to use WIFI Module to search nearest WIFI hotspots which has a corresponding Mac address. Then it will match the Mac address with the location data base which is provided by map server provider. Then positioning finished.

Why do I get an error range of GSM base station locating up to hundreds of meters?

GPS locating is a way of satellite positioning, so it is quite accurate. But GSM locating is based on base station, its accuracy depends on the signal strength received by the transmitter. So the error range can be big.

How to make a phone call on the watch?

After you created account in the App, then you can add contact number for the watches in Setting – Contacts, where you list max 10 numbers. You can also add urgent numbers in SOS setting board. These 3 numbers each are corresponding to the button number from 1, 2, 3 equals to SOS button.

How to make continuous phone call from watch if there is no one pick up phone calls in time?

If your child is in a dangerous or in urgent situation, please touch and hold SOS button. The watch will call the SOS phone number 1 and phone number 2 and then phone number 3 till there are someone who picks up the phone. And It will circulate for 2 times then call ends.

How to do voice monitoring?

You will need to add into the phone number which you used to 'monitor' the watch, then you can send voice message to the kids watches.

Does this kids watch support to send free voice message?

Yes, the function is just like to send voice message on WhatsApps.

The GPS Kids Watch can connect with the phone, but for calls from the phone, the watch is busy. How to solve this?

First of all, please confirm whether you have set the number in the Familiarity Number list. Secondly, please check whether the SIM card in the watch has Caller ID service. If it does, please check whether the number is also in the contacts list. Thirdly, the setting of 'Family Number' should be adhere to the results showed, if the number is short number then you just set as it displayed. Lastly, please ensure whether you have set 'Do not disturb' time for the watch, if you did, then you can get connected only outside the time.

Kids watches and phones are free to call each side, but the watch can not hear a voice from the person phoning.

Please make another call. And during the conversation, push button 1 to add up the volume to the highest.

What is the battery life?

Because the watch is receiving GPS signals continously it does drain the battery. The watches can last up to 6 hours. If you are going to use the watch every day, it is recommended to charge it every night. If you enable the advanced features such as the health tracking of steps, it will further drain the battery.

The GPS Location is not correct, how to fix this?

Turn on the watch and send the command from mobile to watch, SMS:

How Do I Activiate the Health Features?

For the health feature, go into the SeTracker app. The top left hand button with the 3 lines, click on this. Go to ‘health walk’, click on which activities you want to montior. There is a ‘switch’ button which shows green for activities you want to track.
